Laminated Magnetic Chip Game for “WH” Learning Fun
By Nancy Crist, Rose Sheedy, and Amy Parks
Each “WH” game centers around the use of individual game boards, magnetic chips, and a magnetic wand. Students place the chips on their boards as they answer “WH” questions (included with each game). When the boards are full – whoosh, the kids pick up the chips with a “magic” wand!
“WH” Chipper Chat® includes ten different scenes. Each scene has a lesson plan with 100 “WH” questions (20 each of Who, What, When, Where, and Why). That’s 1000 questions in all! A handy “check off” form makes it easy to keep track of the questions you’ve asked.
Each scene has five game boards (so 1-5 players can play the same game). Since each game board has 20 chip spaces, you can also mix and match games at the same time! Feeling chipper yet? Wait, there’s more:
- A 64-page Lesson Activity Book with reproducible masters for each game board and question list
- 23 bonus reproducible “WH” activity sheets
- A magic wand and 100 magnetic chips
- A record sheet to track student progress
- Parent/Helper letter
- One large die
- Sturdy, plastic tote
