Improve the speech sound productions of your students with this wonderful program. Once you have identified the phonemes that your students produce incorrectly, the CTA will assist in identifying the phonetic contexts that facilitate correct speech sound production. The CTA examines the following phonemes: / s /, / l /, / k /, / r /, and the semivowel schwa. The phonemes are also elicited in a variety of 15 consonant clusters: / sm, sn, sl, st, sk, sp, pl, bl, kl, kr, tr, dr, br, mp, nt /. All sounds are embedded in colorful photos that can be elicited spontaneously or prompted with the helpful cues. Four sets of photos elicit / s /, / l /, / k /, and / r /, one set of photos elicits the semivowel schwa, and the final set of photos elicits consonant clusters. This spiral-bound manual includes: reproducible score forms, index of stimulus words, six colorful test plates of stimulus pictures, and a summary of the manner/place/voicing features of English consonants.
